What percentage of people in the world have 20/20 vision? I have been told by my eye doctor that I have 20/20 vision with my glasses. This is supposed to be perfect vision. I am curious as to what percentage of the world's population has 20/20 vision. I would also be interested in the percentage for your perspective countries.

Answer: Glasses can make it so you can see at 20/20 WITH THE GLASSES ON. Glasses do not "fix" your eyes so they will revert to 20/20 vision without your glasses. Hormones have little to do with this, other than if your hormones are causing you to grow, since growing can cause your eye shape to change, which will affect your vision and potential correction required.

Answer: The 20/20 measurement is the visual acuity....the numbers you wrote are the prescription powers for your lenses.....2 different things. It's like asking " how fast can I run if I wear a size 9 running shoe " The visual acuity is measured by the lines you can see on the eye chart , with or without glasses. Your Dr. most likely never even tried to measure you without glasses because you can't see the chart without lenses , and it is of no importance to know anyway. In lower powers, we can guesstimate fairly close based on the average results , but in powers like you have , it can vary so much. So, there is no way to be sure of the accuracy , but you are most likely no better than 20/400 without glasses , but are almost certainly 20/20 WITH glasses/contacts.

In teaching others will eventually cross the boundaries of their beliefs. How do you go about this when other scriptures say that we shouldn't be judging others. I ended up getting it all right even though some letters could have been wrong (C and O, N and M for example). So how can I have 20/20 vision when I know the bottom line is still a bit blurry? Answer: 20/20 is never the bottom line. You were able to read the 20/20 line the line above it . The last line was probably the 20/16 line. So, you aren't better than 20/20 but you are 20/20
