Does "6-Second Abs" Really Work? Can It Really Make U Lose A Size In A Week?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:Does "6-second abs" really work? Can it really make u lose a size in a week? i've had that "6-second abs" thing for a while now.....but I never actually used it consistently. the ad claims that it can make u lose one size in one week. is this actually true? and if it is, do I have to go on a diet while I use it? has anyone ever actually tried it? I want some answers that come from personal experience.
Answer: Every exercise regime also requires some kind of diet to go along. If you burn those extra calories exercising, plus cut 200-500 Cal's from your diet a day, you will burn and lose that much faster. And that doesn't mean you have to count Cal's, but you can leave some bites of food on each plate, decrease serving sizes, drink more water or diet pop, limit desserts to 3x/week instead of 5, etc.
What Infomercial Workout System Works Best?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:What infomercial workout system works best? I'm a night owl, so I watch lots and lots of infomercials. Do any of those remedy's work? The bean, the balls, ab twister, ab slider, 6 second abs, ab doer, body dome. Are they all worthless? How many people have tried TV exercise products and seen results? I have always wondered what is real. if one works for you what where your results. did you lose the weight you wanted. how long did it take?
Answer: I bought hip hop abs and love it. You'd think nothing much would happen, but I'm toning up and I get in a really good cardie workout. Plus it's fun which keeps me doing it. I try and stay away from the machines. They look too fake to me.
Has Any Used The Following Exercise Machines/Tools And Do They Work?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:Has Any used the following exercise machines/tools and do they work? I've been thinking about purchasing some type of inexpensive ab machine/apparatus/tool to help me shape up my abs/obliques and midsection. What can you tell me about any of the late-nite info Mercia's on the following products (do they work, cost, reliability): 6-Second Abs, Ab-Roller, Ab-Scissors, Ab-Lounge....or anything else you may have heard of that might work quickly and efficiently.... Hey fit guy, I am a female and am not so much concerned with getting a "six-pack" as I am with getting the same results from ordinary floor crunches by using other means which won't hurt my back. I see these infomercials which give 30 or 60 day money back guarantees and just want to know if they work for others. I know there's alto of Yahoo questions about diet and weight loss and what to do but I really want to invest in some type of apparatus that will give me the results they claim if I use it diligently. I am not into pills or just a food diet per SE. I can't afford a personal trainer (I wish!) so I would rather put my money into something I can work out on/with every day. Please help and give me your sound advise and opinion if you have one. Thanks!
Answer: I bought the ab lounger and it does work. I have problems with crunches or sit up because of my lower back. The ab lounger does not hurt my back and allows me to work out and still get the end results that I want. But don't be live that it can happen in just a few days. start off slow and build up. after 6 weeks of using it every 2-3 days I have noticed a difference.

Which Ab Exerciser Do You Think Is Most Effective?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:Which ab exerciser do you think is most effective? 6 Second abs http://www.6secondabs.com/ or ab rocket? http://www.tryabrocket.com/ I know it will be tempting to tell me none of those work, and I just need to do crunches or get an exercise ball, but I want to try something different. So choose one. Thanks so much :) have a nice day.
Answer: targeting the abs simply won't work, you have to exercise the entire body to see overall results along with a good diet. I'd say get some inexpensive free weights, a Bose ball or a Burst Resistant Exercise balls, and resistance bands and work out daily with those to get overall better results.

Whats The Best Way To Work On My Abbas ?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:Whats the best way to work on my Abbas ? Iv got a core ball & one of these 6 second abs device , which are good , iv had a slender tone belt , but I sold it ,,, I just like some tips on how to get a 6 pack ,,, I dint care about the pain,,,
Answer: Sport Girl is right if you have any belly fat it will hide your abs you must do cardie to lose all that first. The thing to do for your abs is work them until they are sore give them a 5 minute break and work them again. Some of the devices you can buy work but you get the same result doing it on your own. The exercises I use are: 6 inches - hold your feet 6 inches off the ground for as long as possible, you need to make sure your back is straight on the ground. This works your lower abs Crunches - Make sure you do them properly. Keep your chin pointed up at the ceiling and keep your back straight. Do not pull your head up with your hands let your abs do the pulling. Leg lifts - Lift both your legs up to the ceiling, bottom of feet will point to the ceiling. Keep your legs straight the whole time or you will not be working your abs. Keep your but on the floor and keep your back straight. Do as many of these as you can. Side crunches - Lay on your left/right side, you can use something to keep your legs down. You do these the same as crunches but you lay on your side and pull your body up to your left/right side. Sit Ups - It is your basic sit up. Do not use your back or hands to pull you up be sure to use your abs. I would save these for last because it works your entire abdomen. And repeat - Do them 3 - 4 times a week resting 1 day after each time that gives your muscles the proper amount of time to rest and heal.
