Answer: Nice hours, I used to work 5.30am-3pm when before I'd usually go to bed at 3-4am. Best thing to do is to try to get into the habit before you actually start the job. Try not to rely too much on coffee etc, especially if you're going to be cooped up in a taxi for long hours! Other than that I'd suggest taking a notepad or book or something to keep your mind active when you're sitting around waiting for people. Your body shouldn't take too long to adapt really. As long as you don't eat more than your body needs, it doesn't matter when you eat it. Your metabolism does not slow at night! It has to exist to continue to run the functions of the body while you are sleeping, like breathing. Your brain even works when you are asleep.....all these functions need energy and calories. What causes fat is too much calories, NOT when you eat them.
