Did The Compiler Of The Wiped Plot Summary For A Perfect Getaway (2009) Fall Asleep During The Perforamce?
From Movies Forum:Did the compiler of the Wiped plot summary for A Perfect Getaway (2009) fall asleep during the perforamce? The Wiped plot summary for the 2009 David Two movie "A Perfect Getaway" includes the phrase "at some point on the island, Kale and Cleo are arrested by the police." Does this suggest that the author fell asleep during the performance?
Answer: One of the Anonymous IP-address "editors" of the article in question did, in fact, say he/she was "too tired to go on" while writing part of the summary (first link below). That might suggest a sleep disorder, or simply overwork, high stress levels, etc. The Anonymous-IP person (possibly the same one) who added the sentence beginning with "At some point..." (second link) apparently =did= see the movie, as opposed to the usual Skipton method of copying and pasting the synopsis from Iambi. However, there are several other explanations for this lapse, other than that the person "fell asleep" - he/she could have been in the restroom, at the concession area for a popcorn/drink refill, snogging with his/her date, or text-messaging. Since the arrest scene only took up a few seconds of screen time, it would have been fairly easy to miss in any of those circumstances.
What Movie Is Better, A Perfect Getaway Or 500 Days Of Summer?
From Movies Forum:What movie is better, A Perfect Getaway or 500 Days of Summer? I know they are completely different movies, but if you've seen one (or both) let me know if you liked it. Also how inappropriate is A Perfect Getaway (since it's rated R)?
Answer: They are both excellent films. However like you said A Perfect Getaway is rated R and its pretty inappropriate. There is only brief rear nudity but it has a lot of graphic violence such as a man getting shot in the head and having his brains blown out. Personally I'd suggest 500 days of Summer. It is a great movie with great themes and the actors do an excellent job in their roles. Very realistic. It is already being thought of as a contender for a Best Picture nomination for the Oscars. Enjoy!
