What Happened Tonight On Dancing With The Stars And American Idol?
From Reality Television Forum:What happened tonight on dancing with the stars and American idol? how did Adam on American idol do? and who left from dancing with the stars?
Answer: Hi there. On Dancing With the Stars, Holly Madison and Steve Wozniak left. It was a double elimination. On American Idol: Adam did awesome. He sang "Play That Funky Music" and it was crazy good like usual. The judges loved him. Megan Joy (my personal favorite) picked a crummy song AGAIN (I think it was called "Turn the Lights Down Low" by Bob Marley). Judges didn't care for it. They said wrong song choice. It was a terrible song choice in my opinion, and I love her to pieces. Allison sang "Don't Speak" by No Doubt. Judges thought her outfit was ugly, but she sang well. She played the guitar also. Lil Rounds sang a Celine Dion song, it sounded beautiful, but the judges thought it was too old for her and want her to pick something younger. Scott McIntyre - sang "Just the way you are" by Billy Joel. It was really good, judges thought it was a great choice. Danny Go key - Sang "What Hurts the Most" by Rascally Flat ts. Judges thought it was great. I can't think of the guys name that usually plays the guitar and has the weird jaw thing when he sings. . .judges thought he had the best performance of the night. And the other guy, can't think of his name off the top of my head either (he plays the piano) sang a song by the Fray and played the keyboard, judges didn't really care for it. He's one of my favorites and so is the Fray and I didn't care for it either. Anoop sang an Usher song. LAME. There you go, hope I helped:-) Edit: Kris Allen is the first of the two names I couldn't think of.
How Long Do American Idol Contestants Have A Contract With American Idol?
From Reality Television Forum:How long do American Idol contestants have a contract with American idol? How long do the American Idol contestants have a contract with American Idol? When can James be signed to a record company? After the summer tour or starting the minute he was voted off?
Answer: If you win you have to stay with them for one whole year. If you get kicked off then you are free to any contract offers. James can be singed any time now. Pia was signed right after she got kicked off and is already starting on an album. They have to go on the summer tour but the are free to sign any new offers now. Sometimes it is better to get voted off so you are not stuck with American Idol.
What Is The Point Of Having American Idol If All Of The Runner Ups Get Recording Contracts Too?
From Reality Television Forum:What is the point of having American Idol if all of the runner ups get recording contracts too? The winner of American Idol every season gets a recording contract, but most of the runner ups get recording contracts too. It doesn't make sense. What is the point of it?
Answer: This is a simple question to answer. You see, American Idol has a contract with a record company, which I think is Sony BMG; correct me if i'm wrong. And the winner is signed with that record label, not the runner up. Somewhere within a 3 month period the runner up will get tons of offers from various record labels, and they are allowed to be signed to that record company. American Idol opens up doors, not just for the winner. The American Idol Contract does not offer a record label to the runner up, and it doesn't say that they can't have one, they just have to wait three months after the American idol finale. Plus this season, the runner up, I predict will be more successful than the winner.

How Are The Bad Auditions On American Idol Any Different Than College Football Blowouts?
From Polls & Surveys Forum:How are the bad auditions on American Idol any different than college football blowouts? Both are forms of humiliation. The bad contestant on American Idol would be the college football team that loses 65-0.
Answer: But on American Idol, the contestants (some of them) are trying to be bad... just OT get on TV. In football, at least the other team is doing the best they can (which makes the result all the more painful).

However, if a photograph is requested, do include a self-addressed stamped envelope so a picture can be quickly received. What Does The Average Person Think Of The Behavior Of The American Idol Judges?
From Reality Television Forum:What does the average person think of the behavior of the American Idol judges? I have decided not to watch American Idol again after this season. The judges make me extremely angry because they behave so unprofessionally on the program. Paula and Simon take the attention away from the contestants with their childish self-centered episodes. The show is about the contestants; not about the judges.
Answer: Sometimes I think too much time is TAKEN away from the contestants. Kara talks way too much. I get the feeling she battles with Simon. Paula clearly she is unstable and continues to be an odd ball; Half of the time I don't pay attention to what she has to say. Have you NOTICED Simon doesn't get enough time to say anything because Kara talks and talks and talks. Simon is getting forgettable. Kara is just getting totally annoying. I will continue to watch American Idol because I'm supportive of Undiscovered Talent! This platform opens new doors & jump starts their career. Keep watching! I do have to SAY THREE judges is BETTER than FOUR! Four takes up too much time especially with someone like Kara who keeps talking and talking and talking! Kara or Paula has to GO! Who knows Simon might NOT be back next season! Simon's contract is up and he'll probably want a Massive pay increase to stay!
Are American Idol Audition Coming To Salt Lake City, Utah, And If Not, Where Are The Nearest Auditions Happenin?
From Reality Television Forum:are American idol audition coming to Salt Lake City, Utah, and if not, where are the nearest auditions happenin? I'm planning on trying out for American idol this year, but dint know whether or not they are coming to Utah this year? if not, when and where are the nearest audition cities and how do I register?
Answer: Only four audition cities have been released thus far, and unfortunately Salt Lake City is not among them. Out of the four cities released so far, San Francisco is closest to you. The other three are New Orleans, Jersey City and Nashville. There are however going to be more audition cities announced as time progresses, so there is still hope for you. They are also doing a Glee style on line auditions for American Idol. Go to WNW.myspace.com/americanidol for more details and to sign up. It would probably be easier to just go to an actual audition then go through that whole process of campaigning on line for votes.
