What NC Vitamin C Pill Is The Best To Take?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:What NC vitamin c pill is the best to take? I know vitamin c is good for after a workout and I know it's good after a cross fit workout. I just don't know which one is better chew ables with or without rose hips etc. Any suggestions?
Answer: Get one with the smallest dosage. Vitamin C has X side effect. Better to acclimate slowly. You don't want to be caught by surprise. So, 100 mg or less, and take one, or just eat an orange or squeeze a fresh lemon into some water, or use ascorbic acid in some soup. It is called sour salt in the ethnic section. It is all the same. Get a small bottle as well. A pharmacy brand, generic, would be fine for your purposes.
How Much Does Vitamin C Help When Preventing The Common Cold?
From Other - Health Forum:How much does vitamin C help when preventing the common cold? I have started taken vitamin C supplements for the past 2 years and I have not had the common cold in this entire span. I normally would have 2 common colds per year prior (without much change in activity). Is it safe to say that the vitamin C has been keeping the cold away?
Answer: Both extra vitamin D and C will boost your immune system. If you stopped taking vitamin C tablets you would probably get 2 common colds per year like you used to.
What Happens If You Have C Diff, And Don'T Respond To The Antibiotics?
From Infectious Diseases Forum:What happens if you have c diff, and don't respond to the antibiotics? My mom has c diff. She's been taking antibiotics for different things for the past couple of months, now. It killed her good bacteria, and now she has c diff, and it isn't responding to the antibiotics. So what now?
Answer: Some people are able to get back on track by eating yogurt. Others use pro biotic bacteria replacements such as Flora. The most effective approach for people that can't get rid of C. diff. is pretty gross, but also the most logical - transferring the bacteria from someone else's intestines.
What Is The Recommended Dosage Of Vitamin C For A For A Female Adolescent?
From Other - General Health Care Forum:What is the recommended dosage of vitamin C for a for a female adolescent? I took a vitamin C tablet with Mg in it today. I would like to take a multivitamin but they also have vitamin C (200 mg) is 700 mg of vitamin C too much? The multivitamin says the vitamin C is ascorbic acid if that helps.
Answer: Taking 700 mg of vitamin C per day is OK but less would be OK as well. To get the optimum benefit from your 700 mg of vitamin C it would be best not to take both tablets together. Perhaps you could take your multivitamin with breakfast and your 500 mg vitamin C tablet with dinner. Vitamin C is water soluble and whatever your body doesn't need ends up in your urine. As your multivitamin contains 200 mg of vitamin C you don't really need the extra 500 mg. You need at least 50 mg of vitamin C and preferably at least 100 mg of vitamin C per day and you can get that from a normal healthy diet that includes plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Is My New Efficient Home A/C Unit Blower Never Supposed To Turn Off During The Day?
From Maintenance & Repairs Forum:Is my new efficient home a/c unit blower never supposed to turn off during the day? My new a/c unit blower, air handler runs and runs during the day even when the compressor is off. At night it turns off automatically and during the morning. However, during most of the day it runs and runs blowing cool ac air and then just normal air. We have had the a/c guy out a few times to investigate and this is where it stands now. I don't think the house gets as cool and stays as cool either.
Answer: We have an "Energy Star" home and it was explained to me that the fan will automatically come on to circulate air whether the A/C is on or not.
How Bad Will A "C" Affect My Chances Of Getting Into Good University?
From Higher Education (University +) Forum:How bad will a "C" affect my chances of getting into good university? For the first time, I got a C in my class. I worked hard during my freshmen and sophomore year, but I got a C in my math class this semester for my junior year. I have had a lot of family problems. I know colleges don't care about family problems, but will this "C" affect my chances of getting into college?
Answer: I doubt that it will have any effect. I failed AP calculus my senior year of high school, and was still accepted to my first choice university (which is very hard to get into). Colleges are going to look at all your grades from high school, as well as the type of classes you took (regular, honors, gifted, AP), if you played any sports or participated in extracurricular activities. Don't stress over a C. Just strive to do better and keep challenging yourself - that's what colleges look for.

Answer: It's good to learn any programming language, however, C is not necessary for learning C++ or Java. Actually, learning C ,which is a procedural language, can be a disadvantage to you because C++ and Java are object oriented languages. Yes, C++ is considered a super set of C, which is why it LOOKS similar. However, if your goal is object oriented programming then it would be better to start with C++ then move to Java and not bother with C.
Can Someone Who Was Previously Infected With Acute Hepatitis C But Has Been Cleared Of It Still Infect Others?
From Infectious Diseases Forum:Can someone who was previously infected with acute hepatitis C but has been cleared of it still infect others? "The other 15% of hepatitis C virus infected individuals simply have an acute infection; that is, one that resolves spontaneously in a few weeks or months". Is there still a possibility of someone who fits the above description, to infect their spouse with hepatitis C?
Answer: No Hep C is super, super hard to transmit. If your Hep C is cleared, that means you have NO active viral particles in your blood. That is good! Even if you have chronic positive, it is still hard to transmit, for example, my husband's mother has had it since before he was even born. He does not have it, and his dad does not have it. So, you see it does not transmit so easily. I would not be freaking out at this point at all.
