Where Can I Order A C.C Sabbath Jersey And Have It Come Before Christmas?

From Baseball Forum:

Where can I order a C.C Sabbath Jersey and have it come before Christmas? I am trying to get a c.c Sabbath jersey for my son BEFORE Christmas day so I can wrap it and all... At what store's website can I purchase one, knowing that it will be BEFORE Christmas day? thanks P.S - it has to be the cheaper ones not like the authentic jersey, (so like under 60$)

Answer: Contact Andre the Giants' family.

Is It Possible To Have A Designated Hitter For A Player Other Than The Pitcher?

From Baseball Forum:

Is it possible to have a designated hitter for a player other than the pitcher? If the pitcher was a good hitter (Like C.C Sabbath, although he's now in the national league) and say the shortstop was a good fielder but was a very poor hitter, could the DH be for the shortstop and not the pitcher? If so, why does this not occur more often?

Answer: No. The relevant text of Rule 6.10: A hitter may be designated to bat for the starting pitcher and all subsequent pitchers in any game without otherwise affecting the status of the pitcher(s) in the game. A Designated Hitter for the pitcher must be selected prior to the game and must be included in the lineup cards presented to the Umpire in Chief. It is not mandatory that a club designate a hitter for the pitcher, but failure to do so prior to the game precludes the use of a Designated Hitter for that game.

Would You Take A Star Pitcher In First Round In Fantasy Baseball?

From Fantasy Sports Forum:

Would you take a star pitcher in first round in fantasy baseball? If Roy Hallway, C.C. Sabbath Cliff Lee plus others, Would you take them as your first pick? First base and outfielders are loaded second base is stacked with good players too. Shortstop and third base are a little thin when all the star power is gone. Getting one star pitcher cant hurt but... Starting pitching this year is pretty stacked as well.

Answer: I can't say I would. Taking an SP in the first round in Fantasy Baseball is like taking a QB in the first round of a Fantasy Football draft. There are always 1-2 qualified to make the cut, but they are very rare. This year the top pitcher in Fantasy Baseball is Roy Hallway of the Philadelphia Phil lies. His ADP is always at the back end of the first round, anywhere from 8-14. He's usually taken after the aforementioned SS and B top-tiers are gone and the prime B's like Pols, Moggy and Vito are gone. Halladay, and the top Sp's in general, are worth a look at the back end of the first round, but the depth at SP lends itself to the top-tier pitchers being taken in the early to mid second round of drafts. Hope this helped!

How Much Is A C.C. Sabbath Autograph Worth?

From Baseball Forum:

How much is a C.C. Sabbath Autograph worth? I have a 2005 C.C. Sabbath cracker jack autograph does anyone know how much its worth? it's also in mint condition.

Answer: If this is from 2005 Tops, and features him in an Indians uni it could be worth $40+. The card is a nice card, but many fans are now looking for cards that feature him in a Yankees uni. If you are looking to sell it your best bet is to list it on EBay.

What Does The Green And Red Colors Mean On My Pitchers Fastball Rating In Mlb2K8?

From Baseball Forum:

What does the Green and Red colors mean on my pitchers fastball rating in mlb2k8? I play with Cleveland a lot in MB K, and C.C with some other pitchers, will get a color on there pitch rating. (Example): on C.C Sabbath, his Fastball rating on my season is a 93, but where it says 93, the 93 and back round is highlighted green sometimes before I pitch, and his slider is highlighted red, what does this mean?

Answer: DAT means DAT u didn't hit the position with the pitch in precision pitching (when DA little square shows when Ur pitching) if u hit it Ur pitch will become more effective if not it will go down.

What Pitcher To Draft First Round Of My Fantasy Baseball Draft?

From Fantasy Sports Forum:

What pitcher to draft first round of my fantasy baseball draft? Due to my league settings, I'm definitely drafting a pitcher in the first round, but I'm not sure which to go with. I'm thinking Roy Hallway, C.C. Sabbath, or Aldo Jimenez, but any other ideas are welcome. Thanks guys!

Answer: Well, obviously your league settings are different than traditional league settings if you are certainly taking a pitcher. If you don't tell us what those league settings are, how can I advise you whom to choose? Traditional settings would say Hallway, but in your league... who knows?

Why Are Latin Players The Best Minority Players In Baseball?

From Baseball Forum:

Why are Latin players the best minority players in baseball? The only other minority race that comes close to Latin players would be Blacks. Who is better than c.c. sabathia(latin player) A-rod, Puyols(totally future hall of famer), David Ortiz, And many, many others. While black players have history yet less and less black play in the MB. Blacks may have the history as being the best minority players in baseball, but Latin players are writing there own piece of history right NOW!! Any opinions are welcomed.

Answer: I disagree. I think the Japanese players are far better than the Latin players. They are fundamentally sound and play situational ball much better. Dominican players have more pop and power but are not better situational hitters, runners, fielders, or pitchers than the Japanese. In fact, if you look over the past decade of international play, Japan has pretty much dominated.in regards to minority play.

Why Are There No Superstar Athletes Who Are Vegetarian Or Vegan In Today'S World?

From Vegetarian & Vegan Forum:

Why are there no superstar athletes who are vegetarian or vegan in today's world? I'm talking the major sports (Basketball, Baseball, Football). Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, C.C Sabbath, Brett Fare, Ladonna Tomlin son. They all eat meat, why do you think that is? Prince Fielder is mediocre at best. Thanks for all the replies, from what I gather the consensus seems to be that they do it because eating meat is more healthy and also improves athletic performance. thanks

Answer: Because it is part of a human diet!!! For humans to run at their best they need a healthy and COMPLETE diet. Meat isn't unhealthy, it provides a lot of nutrients that help run the body. If super-star athletes ate nothing but vegetables they wouldn't be able to run at their best. (and they would be skinny as a twig because they wouldn't be getting even the slightest amount of fat in their system)
