How Well Did It Work Out For CNN To Divert NRC News To The Great Hurricane Story?
From Elections Forum:How well did it work out for CNN to divert NRC news to the great hurricane story? Two days of poor CNN "reporters" standing around New Orleans with rain slickers and microphones hyping the second coming of the storm of the century and nothing. Just the typical, seasonal storm from the Carri bean. Was it George Sores, Time Warner, CNN management or what? They are so pathetic. Now, Larry King can report on the storm tonight, yuk!
Answer: I don't know, I like my news unbiased so I don't watch CNN.
Why Did CNN Change Their Format To Look Like A European News Station?
From Media & Journalism Forum:Why did CNN change their format to look like a European news station? CNN has a new on screen format for graphics, and it's really basic. It reminds me of a news channel format from Europe, with a large basic font and no flashy graphics. They also got rid of the scrolling news bar at the bottom. Why did they do that? Is it because they're trying to seem more professional unlike FOX news, or is it just to make it look better?
Answer: CNN changes their News Format every so often because it's their way to keep attracting a new audience...and keep their loyal viewer base. Fox News prefers to keep their scrolling news bar because the producers feel its who they are... The new on screen format for graphics doesn't bother me.. shaking things up every now and then is quite good, after all CNN being as big as they are have the money to do so...
How Long Does It Take CNN To Air Something?
From Media & Journalism Forum:How long does it take CNN to air something? My son said his FOB was going to be on CNN but didn't have any additional information. It sounded like they were there last week. I've not been able to find anything on their site and hope it hasn't aired and I've missed it. Any idea how long before it would air? He meant the news people.
Answer: Did he mean CNN Freight? http://cnnfreight.com/ Or did he mean CNN News, also know as America's mullah. www.cnn.com/ . .
Is CNN Biased And Has Their Continuous Positive Coverage Of ABM Contributing To Their Dwindling Numbers?
From Current Events Forum:Is CNN biased and has their continuous positive coverage of ABM contributing to their dwindling numbers? The numbers of CNN and MS NBC combined doesn't even come close to the only news organization which is taking a critical analysis of Obama's policies. I guess if I want feel good stories about ABM, I should watch CNN or MS NBC. But if I want analysis of the impacts of Obama's policies, even though it may not put ABM in a good light, I will go with the best out there.
Answer: that's why I no longer watch CNN or the main stream media only fox keeps on telling both sides of the issues
What Are The Best Colleges For Wanting To Be An International Reporter For Cnn?
From Higher Education (University +) Forum:What are the best colleges for wanting to be an international reporter for CNN? I want to be an international reporter for CNN. What are the best colleges for that kind of job and have a good swim team?
Answer: College has very little to do with it, you'd have to go to a school with a good journalism program, and then start working in that field, if you do good in that and build up a good resume, then you can think about working for CNN. CNN is based in Atlanta, Georgia, so a good journalism program there MIGHT be more likely to have interns and the like work at CNN, but I'd hardly count on that.
In What Ways Would You Say CNN And Fox News Are Similar And Different?
From Media & Journalism Forum:In what ways would you say CNN and Fox News are similar and different? CNN and Fox News are Cable News Networks that are on 24 Hour a Day, Seven Days A Week, 365 Days A Year. What would you say are the similarities and differences between CNN and Fox News.
Answer: I almost always watch Fox news to get my info; I trust them more. I much prefer their style of reporting, etc. They tell the truth and let the viewers make up their own minds. However, I have to say that Larry King is the best part of CNN. He was kind enough to have on his show tonight, Richard and Lindsey Roberts of OUR plus a phone-in from the elder Oral Roberts, founder of OUR. There is currently a "smear" campaign going out against the Roberts family. I personally am acquainted with some of the students and graduates there, and they are very fine and wonderful people. I have visited OUR, the campus, watched taping of the TV show, attended class there and I have nothing but good things to say about the Ministry.
How Much Does It Cost To Get Featured On CNN Or AOL For A Story?
From Media & Journalism Forum:How Much Does It Cost to Get Featured on CNN or AOL for a Story? I see a lot of people featured on CNN or AOL for a new book or TV show or whatever. I was wondering how much it approximately costs for this?
Answer: I know nothing about AOL's news coverage, but you can't pay to get onto CNN. If you write a book that's interesting enough, CNN may decide you're worth interviewing. (The same goes for every other news network, by the way ... Fox, MS NBC, whoever.) Same with anything else. If you do something newsworthy, or something that viewers would find interesting, the network will contact you.

Why Would CNN Hold Back Important National Security Information Until After The Election?
From Other - Cultures & Groups Forum:Why would CNN hold back important national security information until after the election? Apparently this whole fiscal with Iran trying to shoot down one of our drones in international airspace was known about a week before the election, but CNN (who had the information and is clearly liberal biased), decided to not disclose this important information until after the election. They said they did not want to stir up any additional chaos before the election or something like that. But why would they not report on it, are they not supposed to report on news or are news agencies too biased towards ABM for that nowadays?
Answer: CNN (and other news agencies) reported on it as soon as they heard about it. The Pentagon released the info two days after the election. Why didn't the Pentagon release it earlier? Because there was no reason to. They missed. ------------ @ Clay stead - perhaps you should actually READ the article you quoted from. The drone was not shot down over the Straits of Hormuz. They missed. Iran claims that it was in their airspace. But since they missed, they have zero evidence that it was.
Why Does CNN Find Every Way To Portray A Criminal In A Offensive Way?
From Etiquette Forum:Why does CNN find every way to portray a criminal in a offensive way? Honestly. I was watching that little snippet about that Arizona college student who shot that congresswoman, and man, the show was totally biased and unreasonable. They also zoomed in repeatedly, a very unappealing and terrifying photo of the suspect, trying to make viewers believe "HE IS CRAZY". I just don't agree with what he did. Also taking his personal belongings like his writing, and trying to analyze it and conclude that it MUST base around some form of hatred towards people? What the FL is wrong with CNN?
Answer: Most of the media will present things in the most enticing and sensational method to keep viewers watching. It is not just CNN, but they will show the same thing time and time again due to their 24 hour news format. And I really agree that the picture of the accused JUL Loner looks creepy and scary, but that is the recent photo that was taken and released by the police department after the booking. CNN and others are just showing what is likely to be the last picture available of the suspect. I agree that there appears to be a rush to judgment, and we should all should have patience for the justice system to gather, analyze and present pertinent data. Enough people were direct observers to know what happened, and I guess many are just not patient enough to wait for the pertinent facts to be determined before we guess "why" it all happened.
