From Other - Internet Forum:

Firefox wont start but when I open a link that opens fire fox, It works fine. What do I do? Whenever I open fire fox, it instantly crashes. I've tried opening it in safe mode and still it doesn't work. I even tried changing my homepage. When my friends give me a link in my Man messenger, it opens up fire fox and it works fine, I'm able to browse the Internet normally. What do I do? I already installed and reinstalled it.

Answer: Try installing a slightly older version. I have already chosen 3.0.4 from the list which is the version directly before 3.0.5 (the current version). You can choose any version from the list, but I would recommend that you do not go any lower than version 2.0. Mozilla Fire fox Version 3.0.4: http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/4880/

Answer: I'm not sure if this would help (but it did on another one I supported): Go to Start > Run (In Vista press [WINDOWS]+R). Enter %APPDATA% now and press Enter. Access the folder Mozelle / Fire fox / Profiles / ??????.default. There should be a file in it named profs.js. Rename this file into prefaced.js or something else. How Do You Move Fire fox Bookmarks And Site Passwords From One Computer To Another?

From Other - Internet Forum:

How do you move Fire fox bookmarks and site passwords from one computer to another? I am running Fire fox on a windows machine, and will be using them on a windows machine also. It would be nice if I could save the passwords and bookmarks to a flash-drive for the transfer.

Answer: I don't think you can move stored passwords, as they are stored in the browser security settings and temporary files. For Fire fox Bookmarks it's very easy. And you can even move them cross platform also (like from Windows to a Mac, or from Windows to Linux or Mac to Linux or the other way around). Go to Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks and click on Import and Backup, select Export Bookmarks to HTML, save the resulting HTML file. Copy the Bookmarks HTML file to external media (USB or CD/DVD) and copy to the other computer. You can even e-mail the Bookmarks HTML file to yourself and save it in the new computer. In the other computer, go to Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks and click on Import and Backup, select Import Bookmarks to HTML, search for the Bookmarks HTML file copied from the first computer and open it, it will load all your old Bookmarks into the other computer's Fire fox Bookmarks.
