What Does This Dream Mean? Does It Mean Anything? From Dream Interpretation Forum:
What does this dream mean? Does it mean anything? OK, a little background information, I had a dream last night involving my ex girlfriend, we'd been together for 9 months and recently broke up, we'd only actually seen each other once because we're in a long distance relationship and didn't get chances with education etc. Of course, I still love her and want her back but I was wondering why I had this dream, does it actually mean anything? Ok so, wanna write this before I forget it, I just had a dream, we were in another country but it wasn't going good, we were being chased by people and had to keep running away, and I was telling you I wanted to risk myself for you but you wouldn't let me, and when you said no I kissed you, then we went to sleep in a tent for the night, when we woke up we got up right away we were on the top of a hill, and whilst getting out the tent, I put you on the floor, I lay ed beside you then rolled you on top of me and whilst looking in your eyes, we rolled down the hill together smiling and laughing, then we kissed again but you were being cheeky and bit my lip but wouldn't let go, then we got news someone was coming with a gun, and they were, there was now a group of us and I hid in a doorway and told everyone to run and you didn't want to so I made some guy pick you up and hide you, then the person with the gun walked past me so I jumped out and tried to get the gun, I shot them but got shot in the stomach, and fell to my knees and you ran up to me crying saying you didn't want to lose me then I woke up. I find this dream extremely strange and random as I dint usually remember any of my dreams, any ideas would be helpful ( the reason the dream is lay ed out as it is, is because I had sent it to her)
Answer: Being chased in a dream nearly always is a sign of insecurity or there is something worrying you that you are Turing to escape from. Dreaming of your ex in this situation; the man with the gun represents that your relationship is threatened and by protecting her you are trying to protect or win back the relationship. However the man with the gun shot you, you didn't manage to get away and therefore didn't protect the relationship and hence the relationship broke up, you falling to your knees show how divested you are with the split and her running to you shows how much you want her to come back to you and take away your pain..... hope it was also a vision of her coming back to you in the end and everything works out for you
