Where To Buy Similar Acrylic/Plastic Vase?

From Decorating & Remodeling Forum:

Where to buy similar Acrylic/Plastic Vase? I'm looking to find an acrylic vase, similar to the ones in the photo below. They don't need to match exactly and they can be any color (or clear), frosted or transparent. I've looked everywhere (both Internet and retail stores) without luck. I can find hundreds of similar *glass* vases, but nothing in plastic. Here they are shown in a Target department store advertisement (but not shown as for sale by Target): http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000A3U9YE.16._SCLZZZZZZZ_SS384_.jpg Thank you in advance! Thank you for the suggestions. I've tried flower-pots, but most, like the one linked in your post, are non-transparent. I have tried craft stores, but had never heard of 'hobby lobby'. I did an Internet search of their site but didn't turn anything up. Thanks again for all of your help!

Answer: okay then you might try this page. They are not shaped the same, but I think it might be similar. http://www2.yardiac.com/show_category.asp?tgs=21044740:3824433&cart_id=&category=1792

Will The Left Pass A Law Forcing Target Department Stores To Change Its Name And Symbol?

From Politics Forum:

Will the Left pass a law forcing Target department stores to change its name and symbol? I think it is incendiary and potentially dangerous! Someone could be somehow manipulated by it into shooting things. Maybe it is indirectly responsible for tragedies in our country. Anything but the parents. http://www.target.com/

Answer: I never realized Target Stores and their logo incited violence against an oppressive government, but right there in front of me, there it is. If I were liberal, I would want the government to seize Target and redistribute it to the takers.

Does The Target Department Store Credit Card (Not The Visa One) Report To The Credit Bureaus?

From Credit Forum:

Does the Target department store credit card (not the visa one) report to the credit bureaus? um not all cc report so both of you are wrong there and to the first answer your are also kinda wrong about the more credit cards you have I mean you dint want like 10 but 3 or 4 is good as long as your not late paying or have maxed them out. if you dint know the answer please dint answer. thanks!

Answer: Yes, they both report to the credit bureaus, and you don't actually get to pick which one you want. Target will have you go through the application process and whatnot, then at the end, based on your credit, it will decide whether you get the Visa or just the Target card.

What Type Of Classes Should You Take If You Are A 16 And Interested In Interior Design?

From Drawing & Illustration Forum:

What type of classes should you take if you are a 16 and interested in interior design? I love designing things but I want to take it to the next level and actually take some type of class teaching you about design. Do they have that for people in high school?

Answer: Take Art (a must), graphic design (sometimes an ROTC course), & Home Economics. If they offer Art History, Psychology, writing...take them. These classes may not seem directly related but here's why: Art History: Learn about color pairings, motifs, what has been considered attractive historically. Psych: How the mind works, how to determine what people like, how they are affected by colors and concepts. Writing: You may have to write a book about your design one day! Good ID's know color, arrangement, individual tastes, themes and concepts, budgeting, sewing (!), crafts, shopping for home furnishings and accessories, etc. Start practicing shopping for things you wouldn't buy, like furniture and home decor at malls, target, department stores, fabric stores & home depot. Learn about fabric names (corderoy, jacquard, toiler, damask), woods (oak, maple, mahogany) and furniture styles (mission, federal). Learn about real estate and types of homes from the newspaper and magazines (craftsman, Tudor, plantation) because homeowners often like to match their decor to the style of their home. Buy some furniture from a thrift shop and learn how to refinish the wood and metal. Practice sewing curtains and pillows from scrap fabric. Study Deng Hui, the ancient Chinese art of bringing good energy with proper placement of home furnishings. Good luck!

What should I give to my pageant roommate? I am competing in a pageant in November, and I will have a roommate, as per the rules. How Can Stores Like Wal-Mart, Target, Etc Afford To Keep Costs Low?

From Economics Forum:

How can stores like Wal-Mart, Target, etc afford to keep costs low? Is there an economic principle that governs this? EDIT: This is not a homework question, I was just curious.

Answer: Next time you go to a Wall Mart or Target department store have a good look at the labels in the clothing and you will notice that most of their clothing is made in China. As are the electronics, cameras, shoes etc. The cost of labour in China compared to almost anywhere else in the world is extremely low so that's how the big box department stores keep their costs down. Really cheap labour.
