If I Have A U.S Bank Account But Live And Pay Taxes In The UK Do I Need To Pay Another Tax To Usa?
From United States Forum:If I have a U.S bank account but live and pay taxes in the UK do I need to pay another tax to USA? Hello, I have a business and I require a U.S bank account to have money directly transferred to my bank account from my US customers. However I live in England and pay taxes here. A lot foe my customers come form the USA though. Do I need to pay any taxes or contribute to the US? Thank you
Answer: I take it you are a UK citizen? Your post leads me to think you are. If so, your income is UK-sourced and taxed by the UK. Just ensure that you open your USA bank account as non-interest bearing and filled out a W-8BEN when you opened it. The W-8BEN expires every 3 years, so you need to keep it up to date. Without it, the bank will start withholding money if it is interest bearing and it's a pain to get it back.

How Long Does The Entire For closure Process Take In Mn Right Now?
From Renting & Real Estate Forum:How long does the entire for closure process take in MN right now? In MN , the home loan is Thur U.S. Bank. Say like the home owner just got the notice that they are starting Fore closer proceedings Oct. 1,2012. How long till the homeowner is physically removed from the home, do you think?
Answer: Depends on a lot of factors, how much work their lawyers have, steps that you take. You will be given a court date, a sheriff will bring you the documents. This is just so that yo come into court for a status hearing. This is a legal procedure, just saying, for example, that you are in the process of a short sale could take on another 6-8 months. Even if the homeowner didn't go to the court date it would take at least six months from the curt date to actually be removed.
What Happens To Cash After It Is Deposited In A Bank?
From Personal Finance Forum:What happens to cash after it is deposited in a bank? So, I go to my U.S. bank and give them, say, $100.00 in cash. What happens to the physical cash afterword? I know that some of it is held in the vault for the next day, but where does the rest of it go?
Answer: Some money is held at the local bank for people that want cash (for a check or for a withdraw from an account). The bank keeps so much cash on hand for daily transactions. If they have too much (or too little) they send (or get from) the federal reserve bank in that area.
What Is The Best Way To Access Yen During Overseas Travel?
From Japan Forum:What is the best way to access yen during overseas travel? I currently live in Japan but I'm leaving for the U.S. in September. Before returning I plan on traveling for two months in SE Asia and China. I currently have money in a U.S. bank account that I could access during my travels. The problem is that I will have two months of pay deposited in my Japanese UFO bank account. I'm wondering if I could obtain an international card and use that card to drain my Japanese account of yen during my travels. Another option would be to have one of my friends access the money and then wire it to my U.S account. Which method would be better and does anyone know the rates/limits of a UFO international bank card?
Answer: Just get a Japanese credit card. I use my Season Visa Card where ever I go and it just automatically gets drawn down monthly from my Japanese bank account. Alternately, THE cheapest way to transfer money out of Japan is with the SHINES Bank. It's not as Gauguin friendly as say, Colloids, but way cheaper... and very easy once you get it established! (SHINSEI is a fairly new, Internet 'only' bank.) Like all Japanese credit cards, the limits can be readily increased. Just start out with what ever they give you, pay it out each month, then ask for an increase. It's a formality. (Like so much else in the country!) I live on my Japanese Visa when I am overseas and find it the easiest way. You have to have a Japanese postal address though, so a friend might have to forward your mail.

What'S The Best Bank To Open A Checking Account Through?
From Personal Finance Forum:What's the best bank to open a checking account through? I'm 20, a college student, & need a free checking account (no monthly maintenance fee, minimum balance, any hidden fees). Also availability of ATM's & zero or low fees for using my debit/credit card. Any suggestions? Overdraft protection or one low overdraft fee for a transaction (not like U.S. Bank charging nearly $40 per overdraft + $8 per day that you account is negative). Positive suggestions please.
Answer: There is no best bank, best bank account, or best credit union. You need to look at the totality of the bank’s services, accounts, and fees. Every bank and credit union offers several accounts with different features and different fees. Some banks may have low overdraft fees, but high fees in other areas. Some accounts waive all fees if you maintain a minimum balance. Other accounts have a monthly fee, but no fee on each transaction. Other accounts have no monthly fee, but a fee for each transaction. Some banks have a large number of AT Ms which you can use without a charge. Other banks have a charge for AT Ms. I suggest that you visit several banks. Find out the features and charges of each of their accounts. Find out how many AT Ms are available, and whether there is a service charge for using the ATM. Make sure you get everything in writing. Do not accept anything the customer service person tells you verbally.

Why Is The Us Bank Tower The Tallest Building In Laos Angel es ?
From Laos Angel es Forum:Why is the US Bank Tower the tallest building in Laos Angel es ? The U.S. Bank Tower is only I'm. I know Laos Angel es is in a major active seismic region and the US Bank Tower's structure is designed to resist an earthquake of 8.3 on the Richter scale, but so is the Taipei 101 in Taiwan. Now the Taipei 101, at 449.2m, is the tallest completed building in the world. Is it that Laos Angel es downtown doesn't have as many important businesses as Taipei or Chicago, which has a few buildings taller than 318m?
Answer: We simply do not need a taller building. I am not even sure that the Bank Tower is filled to capacity. You have to remember that LA is very spread out. We have "downtowns" in many areas of LA such as Pasadena, Glendale, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Long Beach, Century City, and West wood. All these places have many high rise buildings which take away for the need of many super skyscrapers out here. If you put all these places in downtown LA then it would look like NYC.
