What Was The Name Of The Car Accessory Shop In The Manchester Randal Centre?
From Manchester Forum:What was the name of the car accessory shop in the Manchester Randal centre? it was downstairs at the bottom of the escalators near W.H. Smith and opposite the cash machines, it would be great if you could help me as it has been bugging me for an embarrassing amount of time

Where Can I Purchase The Complete Dark Hunter Series?
From Books & Authors Forum:Where can I purchase the complete Dark Hunter Series? Or the individual books. I live in London and would like to really read them but I don't think either my school or local library stocks them. I've already looked on W H Smith's on line browser and it seems as if they don't sell them. I've just done a little research and now know that Borders does sell volume one. If you've read them, where did you buy them? Keeping in mind I live in London. Thanks, I think I'll only buy the first two books.
Answer: Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=sherrilyn+kenyon&x=0&y=0 Waterstone's: http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/simpleSearch.do?simpleSearchString=sherrilyn+kenyon&searchType=0&Image1.x=0&Image1.y=0 Your best bet to get all of them, is ordering them on line. Brick and mortar stores tend to run out of copies of some of them. Do not purchase the whole series until you know that you actually are going to like them. Get Fantasy Lover and Night Embrace and then go forward if you like those. Fantasy Lover does not involve a Dark hunter, but it s the introduction of sorts to the series.

From Books & Authors Forum:Looking for a recent book but can only remember the cover? I never got to look at it properly because the shop was shutting so I have no idea if i'll like it but it's bugging the hell out of me. All I remember was (girls) legs with like working boots (beige I think.) It was like 2 days ago in W.H Smiths so it must be quite recent. Anybody have any idea?

Do People Read Books For Pleasure Nowadays?
From Current Events Forum:Do People read Books for pleasure nowadays? I have had cause in the last week to visit my local Library, my local W H Smith, and my nearest Water stones, and all three had one thing in common- there was nobody in them. Is reading for pleasure a dying art? Views please. Ariana- Try "The Inheritors" by the same Author! Probably one of the best 5 Books ever written, and I say that after reading hundreds.
Answer: Apart from WHO Smith ( which has become woeful and surely the next high street casualty ) I think you have just been unlucky and found a quiet day. My local water stones is always heaving and every time I go in there is no where to sit and I end up kneeling on the floor. The library is always busy also.. I read a lot ~ I don't watch much telly. As for it being a dying art..I worry about that too but I'm not sure if that's just me turning into a fogey. My daughter reads a huge amount but my son only reads information books - he is just not interested. I would say their peers don't read as much as me and mine did at the same age but then we didn't have x box's and Wii's. I think it's especially hard to get lads interested in reading these days - the quality of fiction aimed at boys under 10 is dire.My son took one look at ' Horrid Henry' and grimaced. I don't blame him they are awful. I suppose it all boils down to the many and varied options we now have for leisure- maybe books can't compete?

With No Nintendo WI Available In High Street,Adn With Kids Pestering For It,Is It Safe To Buy In Ebay?
From Nintendo WI Forum:with no Nintendo WI available in high street, adn with kids pestering for it,is it safe to buy in ebay? Can we buy this item in Ebay(new) and can we really have warranty on the same(they say register online) or is it safe to buy from Argos/w h smith etc??
Answer: If you buy off e-bay, I highly recommend not only that you check the seller's feedback, but also buy only through sellers that accept "paypal", and set yourself up a "paypal" account first--and ONLY pay for purchases through paypal! Never buy from a seller who wants you to send a check, money order, or pay through an escrow account--they are almost always fraudulent! And you will never see either the product or your money again! Paying through pay pal offers protection--if you don't receive the product, you can dispute the charges and get your money back! It's also wise to buy from a seller who has a regular e-bay account, with over, like with a feedback of over 1,000 because they are used to occasional returns and have a system in place to handle them. A seller with less than 50-100? Yeah, that's usually someone who doesn't normally buy and sell, and may only have 1 WI console, so it's harder not only to get them to accept returns for faulty products, but to replace them because they don't have any more in stock! As long as you receive a receipt from the seller, yes, then you should be able to fill out the warranty card and receive full coverage (if you purchase through pay pal, your payment can serve as your receipt.) Oh, and if you're in the U.K.? (Which is what it sounds like to me as you referenced "High Street") make sure you buy your console from a UK seller, and that their advertisement says that it's PAL format. If you buy from an American seller, not only will you be subject to import taxes--which will cost more than the console is worth, but it will be NS TC format, which doesn't work in the UK. (and if you're in the U.S., make sure you buy from an American seller and not any other country for the same reason.) And especially if you're in the U.K., don't buy a console that says it's been "modded" (or modified) to accept ALL formats, because that automatically voids your warranty--and "modchips" are also totally illegal in the U.K. (Although they're not illegal in the United States, "modding" your WI will still automatically void your warranty.)
