What'S The Difference Between Weight Watchers On line And Loseit?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:What's the difference between Weight Watchers On line and LoseIt? I am looking to ease off a low carbohydrate diet and maintain my current weight with a low calorie diet. I used Lose It in the past and was wondering if it was worth investing in Weight Watchers on line. Is it pretty much the same thing? What benefits does a paid service like WOW have? How is the food database for restaurants?
Answer: I have never used Lose It but I did have success with the Weight Watchers on line program. The benefits differ depending on where you live (USA, Canada, UK). The Weight Watchers on line program has recipes, on line tracker, exercise tips. The "food database" for restaurants also varies by country. The one for Canada is apparently not as good as the US. The US program also has a much better defined Menes program than the one in Canada. If you want to save some money, Weight Watchers usu sally runs discount coupons: In the US you can get to the free sign-up coupons and the Weight Watchers USA "click through" coupons here: http://www.canbuy.ca/weightwatchersUSA.asp In Canada you can get to the Weight Watchers Canada "click through" 35% off coupons here: http://www.canbuy.ca/weightwatchers.asp Best of luck!
If I Buy A Weight Watchers On line Subscription Can I Attend My Local Meetings?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:If I buy a weight watchers on line subscription can I attend my local meetings? If I buy a subscription to weight watchers on line can I attend my local meeting for free or do I have to pay for a separate subscription?? Thanks! Also did weight watchers work for you if you've tried it and how much did you lose?
Answer: If you are interested in doing on line and attend meetings your best bet would be to purchase the monthly pass. The monthly pass costs$42.95 a month and you get to go to as many meetings you choose and you get to use tools as well. if you do strictly on line and decide you want to attend a meeting you will have to pay for the meeting which will cost you more . I have only been doing weight watchers for 2 Weeks so far. I have already lost 5 lbs. It works if you stick to it and do it correctly

From Diet & Fitness Forum:Are Weight Watchers on line and weight watchers tools the same thing? I was thinking of doing the monthly pass thing which allows me to go to meetings and use tools. What I am wondering is what tools consists of and if it's the same thing as weight watchers on line. Thanks!
Answer: They are the same, except with weight watchers on line, you do not have meetings. You pay about $16 per month and you have access to the tools and are responsible for weighing yourself and tracking it, but if you are a paying member who attends meetings then you already have access to the tools. Etools are the on line stuff: weight tracker food journal fitness advice recipes All are very helpful, but the meetings are supposed to be a big help on top of the tools because you have extra support. There are forums in weight watchers though, if you need that group support but are too embarrassed to attend meetings. I am just an on line member and I have lost 12 lbs in the last 1 1/2 months, which means I'm right on track by losing 2 lbs per week! Good luck on your goals!

Would You Recommend The Weight Watchers On line Program?
From Diet & Fitness Forum:Would you recommend the Weight Watchers on line program? I need to lose weight-but I want a "lifestyle" change-I'm only 22, I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old and I just want to lose about 40 pounds-keep it off and life a healthy life for me and my kids. Is the Weight Watchers on line program something that sounds good for me? Have you tried it? What's the difference between the on line program and the meetings?
Answer: I have been on Weight Watchers for 16 weeks now and have lost 25 pounds. I do both the meetings and the on line program. On line has what they call e-tools and you can track your weight and there are helpful tools to track your points each day. It also has message boards and recipes. At the meetings, you can learn a lot of information from people who have been doing the program for a while. For me, the meetings are a better motivator. I have to show up and weigh in. At home I "cheat" more than if I go to the group.
