How am I supposed to answer the question "Why do you love me"? notice my guy asks WHY do you love me not what do you love ABOUT me?????????? I defiantly know what I love about him. His smile, how corny his jokes are and yet I laugh anyway, his intelligence, the fact that he stays up till one in the morning to talk to me, the way he shows me how to load a gun then laughs when I do it wrong, his kindness and how he cares for my safety. Every little thing that makes him who he is.

Recently I have read a few questions in which the wife , in the heat of an argument asked " Why do you love me anyway ?". I'd have trouble answering that question right now , let alone under pressure ,how about you ? Makes me think it's a good idea to make a list so as to be prepared ?

Answer: Simplest answer (and my favorite go to) is" I love you for being you". I HATE that question. Any time BESIDES when it's asked, you can think of a thousand reasons, then they ask it and your mind goes blank! Write a list when you're on a roll and keep it handy to pass to them when they ask or post it and point to it!

Answer: Me and my boyfriend have been together for a little over 3 years and I've asked him this and he has asked me... so I'll tell you what we said. When I asked him, he responded with "I love you, because you don't bullshit, you don't hint, you are yourself (evil but caring), you make me laugh, your there for me, you sacrifice so much to make others that you love happy, your beautiful and sexy :P, you make me happy and all in all you make me a better person. I love you, because your amazing, everything you do and are makes me cherish you more. You worry that I'm going to find someone better, because I lost weight Haas.. there is no one better than you!" Pretty corny isn't it? :P My answer however was not so lengthy and not as corny I love you, because you're wonderfully weird, you're funny, strong on the outside but really soft on the inside, you're someone that I can depend on. I don't know... I love you because... I don't know... because you're you... and I love everything about you so I love you my god I do not know how to formulate my sentences Anyway.. I would say for you to add examples to make your answer more personal... like the things she does that you think is cute, the things that she does that make you happy.. blahblahblah Hope I helped :)

Is there anything left to salvage or should I just move on? My girlfriend and I of two and a half years just recently broke up. I wanted to take time away from the relationship to decide what was best for me and to let her think about what she wanted to come out of the relationship. Every night when I told her I was about to leave she would bust out in tears and would not let me leave. I played into her game and stayed with her which I will admit was immature of me. One night she decided to hang out with a friend and I thought that would be the best time for me to leave. I did and now we barely talk to each other. We are both hurt of how it ended and still love each other very much. With all this time I have had to think I came to the realization that I should not have treated her like I did and showed her more attention. That whole time we were fighting I was depressed at how the relationship was going and she kept bugging about question like "Why are you with me" and "Why do you love me". I wouldn't come up with an answer and it would make her upset. She is afraid of commitment because of what her mom has done in her past relationships and is scared she would do the same. She doesn't want to have kids and a part of me does. I can't force her to have kids with me and I am OK with not having kids. All the time I was away from her and she was out of our apartment she ask why didn't I come after her or track her down. Truth is it never came to mind because I needed to do my own thing and let me be myself. She is scared to have a relationship with me again. I have realized all the mistakes I have made and now I know how to truly treat her and show her the love she needs to be shown. Is there anything left to salvage of the relationship? What is there left to do? She says she keeps waiting for me to sweep her off her feet. How do y'all interpret that?
