Which XML Radio Products Are The Best For Use In Both Car And Home?
From Other - Electronics Forum:Which XML radio products are the best for use in both car and home? I just bought a new car which is XML radio ready, and I am thinking about getting a subscription. To take the most advantage of the subscription, I'd like to purchase some sort of additional device for my other (non-XM wired) vehicle, and also something so I can listen in my house, too. Currently, I don't have a decent home speaker system or anything. What is the most cost-effective way to fill all these needs? Which device(s) should I purchase?
Answer: I have XML built into my car, just like your XML ready, I love it, I personally think you shod get it, you'll love it, no commercials, or anything. Personally what I would do, and this is what I did with my other vehicles it once you sign up with, well now its called Sirius XML, but once you sign up with them you can buy another radio for your car, and those radios are cheaper, like I bought a nice one for only 25 bucks.....also once you sign up with XML, if you have a computer, you can listen free on line.....it still live, just a 20 second delay generally, but I do have an old XML radio that I have hooked up to my sound system, but dint use it much anymore, I believe to add other radios it cheap, it cost me only 5 bucks extra a month for it, I hope this helps, I know I just typed a lot of junk Lil, anyways good luck!
How Do I Change My The Credit Card Number On An XML Radio Account?
From Radio Forum:How do I change my the credit card number on an XML Radio account? My Dad's credit card was stolen. He canceled it and got a new one, but he is now trying to figure out how to change the credit cards attached to various websites and such. He has either XML radio or Sirius (they are the same thing now, right?) and is trying to change the credit card number associated with it. He isn't very tech Savoy. How would I go about doing this for him.
Answer: I'm a DJ for SIRIUS/XM Radio, Yes they are the same thing now since they have merged together as 1 company but keeping their separate channels in 1 radio. If he is going to change his credit card or any billing/contact information on his account then he should navigate to either WNW.SIRIUS.com or WNW.XM.com, At both sites you will see in the top navigation bar towards the right a "Your Account" or "My Account" link. Simply click that and it will bring you into your lo gin screen, lo gin and your at the control panel for everything! If you need any further assistance with this you will need to contact them by email or phone. SIRIUS Phone #: 1-888-539-SIRIUS (7474) XM Phone #: 800-XM-RADIO (800-967-2346)

I Got An XML Radio Cypress Car Kit. How Do I Set It Up In My 2001 Honda Civic?
From Honda Forum:I got an XML radio cypress car kit. How do I set it up in my 2001 Honda Civic? I received an XML radio with a car kit. I have a 2001 Honda Civic ( 4 door). I pulled out all the stuff and I am lost with all the connections. Does any one have any insight for me?
Answer: It all depends on how you wish to hook it up. You can set it up to run off of your car radios FM frequency using just the XML system itself (Set your radio to the same frequency as your XML frequency) Or you can but, and plug in an antenna adapter. This will require you to take your dash apart a little bit and connect a splicer cable to your antenna jack coming out of the back of your stereo. Then you will repeat the same steps as the cars radio setup I spoke of. The final option is an AUX port, but the 2001 Civic didn't have an AUX port so dint worry about that one. Now to set up the system itself. You should get all the wires out and determine how you are going to run them prior to starting. You will have four main components (if doing the setup to run through car stereo). 1. XML radio 2. Power cable 3. Satellite Antenna 4. FM Antenna You can mount the XML radio where ever you want by any means. You want the Satellite antenna to be preferably mounted on the top of you roof near the back window. This will take most of your time as you will need to take some interior parts off of your car. Next you want to mount the FM antenna, you didn't say what model Civic you have so I will just assume yours has the antenna integrated into the rear windshield. Place the FM antenna as close as possible to your antenna box (odd looking box on your rear windshield). Plug your power cord into your V power (cigarette lighter) And you are ready to go. I hop I answered your question, you were kind of vague about what you needed. If you need more help just post it in your original question and I'll try to help out.
How Can I Transmit My Music From My Pod To An XML Radio?
From Music & Music Players Forum:How can I transmit my music from my pod to an XML radio? The gym I go to plays crappy music on there XML radio. And they wont change it. So is there a way to transmit music from my pod to the XML radio? I know you can with an FM radio. What about an XML radio? and how?
Answer: There is no way to transmit songs to an XML radio from your pod. Even if there was it would clearly be much simpler to bring your headphones and listen to your own pod while you are working out.

From Car Audio Forum:How do I install XML radio in a Pontiac G car 2006 that already is XML radio? Too much static and interference How do I install XML radio in my Pontiac G 2006. It says factory installed. however I installed the XML radio as I installed it on my van previously, and I get major static, and interference. I have no antenna in the car. Its a built in antenna, so I am so confused.
Answer: the G has XML ready on the FACTORY RADIO (all u had to do was call up XML and activate it) but yeah u got Ur own, built-in antenna ? built into Ur radio already?, or the car? the car has a built-in antenna and is still receiving, which Ur XML is still receiving its signal and they are 2 signals one PPS. yours, the other neg. G signal ................................. Used XML Radio Still Getting Service, So Should I Call XML So They Can Start Billing Me?
From Etiquette Forum:Used XML radio still getting service, so should I call XML so they can start billing me? I bought a used XML radio on eBay recently and when it arrived it was still activated from a previous owner. I planned on activating it on my account, but not for a few months. Should I just forget that it's already activated and just go on like normal, or should I wait and see if it ever gets shutoff before activating it on my account?
Answer: Depends if you like paying for things you are getting for free. If you pay for it, I expect you to give me at least $20 for this great advice.

What Is The Best Portable XML Radio Receiver?
From Radio Forum:What is the best portable XML radio receiver? Whats the best portable XML radio? One that can record, be docked in a car and used with headphones? Not best for your dollar, but best all round?
Answer: I have the Pioneer In no and I love it! It records, I can use it anywhere. The package came with the radio, a leather holder (which I don't use, Cu's it doesn't strap onto your arm - I bought one seperately), ear buds (I love my ear buds, satellite receiver, recharge station, car port, car satellite receiver... and probably more. Lots of stuff. I bought the satellite receiver headphones extra - which suck, Cu's if you move you don't get that good reception and the ear ports are real big and vertical and don't move.. But the recording ability is essential if you plan on using it walking or jogging.. Cu's you won't get that great of satellite response.. so you just play back the recorded. I think the Pioneer In no is the best! :D
