If you don't have the Mozelle Fire fox web browser yet, you can download and install it from here: http://firefox.com Once you have it, Go ogle search "Download Helper" and install the Download Helper add-on into Fire fox. Then go to Tools >> Download Helper >> Preferences in Fire fox and adjust which file format you want the video converted to, the folder it will save videos to, etc. After that's done, go to the You Tube video using Fire fox, and you should see the Download Helper icon start animating on Firefox's toolbar. Answer: To be able to have custom thumbnails I think you need to have a certain number of subscribers. Only channels that are 'popular' are given the option to upload their own thumbnails. I think the old You Tube allowed all users to have them, which may be why your other account had them, but I don't see why they changed the system, it seems pointless and is a disadvantage to all unpopular users. I have tried to get thumbnails on my own channel, but even with just over 1,000 subscribers now, I still haven't been given access :(
