What Is The Top Pizza Place In Orange County? From Laos Angel es Forum:
what is the top pizza place in Orange County? I love a thin crust cheese pizza with extra light cheese and a lot of flavor. Pretty much a New York style pizza. Answers are greatly appreciated. I went to angelo's and vinci's and got the thin crust pizza and they put hardly any sauce on it. I used to love going to Z pizza but I think their cheese kind of tastes funny (at least the one by me). How Hard Is It To Be A Vegetarian? From Vegetarian & Vegan Forum:
how hard is it to be a vegetarian? I learned about how horrible animals are treated before getting killed, and I feel totally disgusted by eating meat now. is it hard to be a vegetarian? i've never really been one, and what other kind of foods can I eat. so far I have been eating soups, and pastas, and things with artificial meat. but what else is there?
Answer: It's really not that hard if you have will power and determination. Salads are very overrated with vegetarians, don't get me wrong, they are great now and then, but that can't be your entire diet. Eat alto of things that include eggs, like egg salad, quiches, souffles, scrambled eggs, om lets, egg based dishes that don't involve meat basically (vegetarians do eat eggs, but generally we want them to be free range/cruelty free eggs). Pastas are also good but only if they are balanced with veggies and nuts/seeds (because nuts and seeds are great sources of niacin) oatmeal (and other grainy/whole grain things) is a great source of protein, as is milk. try eating brown rice instead of white rice (if you eat rice, and you should because it's great stir fried w/veggies and eggs), because brown has more nutritional value than white rice (which basically has no nutritional value) if you're not in this (vegetarianism) for the health benefit you can still eat pizza (not pepperoni or sausage of course) I'm in this for the health benefit but I still eat an occasional piece of pizza for lunch, there's lots of kinds you can get besides plain cheese, Greek pizza is great, so is Mediterranean, just find a good pizza place (I love Z-Pizza). and last tidbit of advice: store brand peanut butter for some reason tends to have more protein than name brands like jiffy. Although realize that peanut butter has much more fat than nutritional value. hope this helps you =]
Does Anyone Have The Pizza Pocket Recipe From The Alpha Bakery Children's Cookbook??From Cooking & Recipes Forum:
Does anyone have the pizza pocket recipe from the Alpha bakery children's cookbook??
Answer: E-Z Pizza Pockets Ingredients: 1 package of Pillsbury prepared pizza crust 1/2 cup pizza sauce (as much or little as you like I use Contain brand that comes in a Squeeze bottle!) 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 package pre-sliced pepperoni (60 to 70 slices depending on your taste) 1 cup zucchini or mushrooms or olives or tomatoes (WHATEVER YOU LIKE! Or add them ALL!) Prep: Preheat oven to 375. Unroll refrigerated crust onto greased cookie sheet. (do not let unopened dough sit on the counter too long before you use it or it will become too sticky to work with! Keep in in the fridge while you prep everything else then open and unroll.) Pull and press the dough into an even rectangle, careful not to pull it too thin or rip it. Spread your sauce long ways across the center of the dough leaving approx 1 1/2inches on each end and 3 or four inches on each side Layer cheese first, then meat/veggies, continue layering. Fill as much as you like but keep in mind, the edges will need to fold up over your fillings! The thinner the dough has to be st reached the SHORTER your cook time will be or it will burn! Once your toppings are in fold the long sides of the dough over the topping one at a time like a letter allowing a small amount to overlap. Use a fork to press the short ends closed and seal the Pocket. If you do not you will have cheese EVERYWHERE! I like to sprinkle the top with Italian seasoning and Parmesan and a little garlic salt before it put it in to bake. Bake for 15-to 20 minutes depending on the amount of your toppings. Slice into strips and enjoy!
